New Year!

Well it is a new year, and here I am again trying to do things right. My boys are all good and ready for a new year.

Titan was not happy about going back to school after the Christmas break, but he is now back in the swing of things. He really does not like to get up although on Saturdays he is up about 15 minutes later then he has to get up for school. It make no senses to me as to why he would cry about getting up when he gets up around that time even when he does not have school.

Wesley is all raped up in all his new toys. We counted his trains and he has over 100 trains and trailers. These are the wooden Thomas trains and trailers if you were wondering. He also has many tracks but I have not counted all of them yet.

Whalen I think has gotten meaner. He is always screaming, hitting, and taken things away from his brothers. I think God is having a great time watching Josh and I deal with this tough faze he is going through. We love him and he sure is cute and sweet - just full of all kinds of meanness. I  will figure out how to handle him! Pray for me!

Josh is all rapped up in Rocky Bank. Santa brought the boys a Wii for Christmas and my parents got the boys Rock Bank for it. It has somehow become Josh's. It is nothing for him to send hours playing. Titan has gotten better at it, and I from time to time like to sing, even though I could not carry a tune to save my life - it is still a lot of fun!

I have so much to be thankful for and I am so proud of my boys! What a great year we are going to have at the Bailey  house hold.

Stay tuned for more to come!

So, I am not the best in the world at keeping these type of things up to date......What can I say I am a busy person.........

Where to start???

Well, Titan's football season has been fun. They have made it to the playoffs so it is not over yet. I think that Josh and Titan have really bonded. I know that Josh is going to miss it when it is all over. I am not sure if Titan is going to miss though. We have had fun watching all the parents and coach's this season. It has been a learning experience for all of us. I didn't know that football was taken so serious at age 6 & 7!!!!!

Whalen had a birthday last week and my baby boy is now 2! Yes, the terrible two's have set in....

Wesley is Wesley - He is ready for Christmas and his list gets bigger and bigger every day. He asked me last night when we were going to put some Christmas presents out? I told him that we don't even have a tree up yet - his reply to that was that I could get the tree down and put it. Everything with him is so simple and he does not understand why I just wont do what he wants all the time.

Oh, the holidays - I love the holidays. We run our self ragged but I love it. We have so many parties and family parities to go to that we really don't even get to enjoy the season. I am not complaing because we are so blessed to have such a wonderfully big family on both sides. Last year was hard - my brother and his family live in South Kora (they are missionaries) and last year was the first year we didn't have them with us for Christmas. Oh, how I miss them lately. They will not be able to make home again this year - so once again it will just be a phone call on Christmas day from him. (that reminds me I have to get their package together and get in the mail to them)

There are things that I don't understand about my husband. Why is going and getting you truck covered in mud such a wonderful and fun thing? I am not saying that I have not ever gone mudding, but when I was growing up it was either on the 3 wheeler or the golf cart so we would get covered in mud as well. That to me was the fun part. So why would you want to go if you can't even get dirty yourself???? Anyway if he has fun doing it and he is the one washing his truck - I say do it all that you want........

Why is it that the people I work with have to be all up in my business all the time? If we are not in the same department - why does it matter what my work schedule is? I can't help it that when I was hired 6 years ago I was given Friday's off as part of my employment agreement. If they wanted Friday's off they should have request it when they were hired or they should have sometime along the way renegotiated their employment agreement. Also it is no one business but my bosses how many vacation days I have or when I take my vacation days. I cannot help it if your boss has blocked certain days and you cannot take vacation them........Yes I have a job that allows me to have a flexible schedule, but I also have a very very stressful job - that I am sure some of these people would not last one day in. I know that everyone has stress at their jobs, but I deal with the money........

My Family

I come from a big family. Today we had a get together at my aunt's house. It was for my Pop's 79th birthday and my cousins 16th birthday. There was a total of 18 of us there. One Big happy family..........

Elizabeth got a car - a 97' Ford Mustang - it look awesome and she was so happy. It was a great surprise.

The boys had some much fun that they didn't even take time to eat so the whole way home all we heard was how hungry they were. When we got home I made them jelly sandwiches and shakes.

Titan was going to have a football game today, but because of IKE they cancelled it. I don't completely understand why they would cancel the game when Fort Worth is land locked, but we didn't have to get up early so that's good. Instead we went and got donuts. YUM!!!!!

Sting, Sting, Sting

Yesterday afternoon we were all outside watching the kids in the play. For those of you that don't know we live on a street that dead ends and we are the last house on that dead end. There is a big open field next to us and so all the kids on our street seam to gather in our front yard and play. I think because our kids or so over spoiled  and have way too many toys is why, but what ever reason is fine with me. I love coming home from work with about 10 kids running around in my front yard. Anyway back to the story. Ronda (my mother in law) came over to watch Titan get off the bus from school. This is Titan's first year to ride the bus and the only reason I let him ride it is because it stops right in front of our house. So here we are all outside. The two girls across the street were over and playing. Josh decided to get on top of the house because there was a dead bird up there and get it down. Titan, Wesley and the two girls all went to the back yard to see what was going on. Some how the kids ended up behind the storage building and the next thing I know Wesley is screaming. He had gotten stung by a yellow jacket right on the end of his nose. I picked him up and ran him inside to get something on it and to calm him down. My children seam to always scream about everything but this time I completely understood. Well Ronda and Josh both followed me in and we were trying to decide what to do to get the burning to stop. Wesley was setting on the kitchen counter of course still scream. He didn't want us to touch it at all. We keep telling him that we needed to look at it make sure the stinger was not in his nose somewhere . He finally let us look as long as we didn't touch it. A few seconds later still screaming - He starts seaming at the top of his lungs

"Daddy go kill them"

He scram this over and over. Of course we all started laughing, and he stopped scram and calmed down.

He then went outside and played  and was fine. I asked him to come over one time so that I could look at it just to make sure it did not start swelling. I was setting on the ground in our garage and he came over. While I was looking at the sting spot (that is what he calls it) he said "Mommy you have spider webs in your nose." Nothing like a kid to point something out in front of people......

Anyway he is fine now and he even let me touch his sting spot this morning. We now know Wesley is not going to have any reaction to yellow jackets....

Have a blessed day!!!

So here I am at work (not working) and I was thinking that I should really start writing down the things my boys do - sometimes they are cute and sometimes I feel like I am going to pop their little heads off. But I love them more than anything and they sure do make life fun. Let me introduce them to you.......

First there is my husband (whom I love with all my heart) Josh. Josh works for Frito-Lay and also has a landscaping business. (so if you need any landscaping needs or need a sprinkler system installed or repaired just let us know) He is one the funniest people I know although he tends to think he is board all the time. He always has to have something going on weather it is project or playing - he constantly has to be entertained. He is a wonderful father and takes great care of all of us. I cannot say enough great things about him.

My first born child is the one and only Titan (6 years going on 20). Titan is just like his dad. We have always referred to him as Josh's mini me and that pretty much sums it up. He not only looks just like his daddy he acts like him too. Titan is a wonderful yet trying little boy, but what child is not trying....... I can always trust that he is going to be on his best behavior when I am not around - he has proven it several times.

Our middle child is Wesley (4 years). Wesley is my loving child. He still has to have hugs and kisses from Mommy and will tell Mommy that he loves her. Unlike my other two children that have not wanting me in there air space since the time I brought them home (they get this from their mother, I cannot help it my space is my space unless I invite you in. Don't hug me unless I hug you first). I have to watch Wesley - he is the one that will most likely be in trouble all the time at school.

And then there is our baby - Whalen (1 ). Whalen got every bit of mine and Josh's stubbornness. And anyone that know us understands how this is not a good thing. Whalen will be the one that stands out in a crowd. He will be the life of the party, he is funny and very very cute. He is also the type that does not like to have something taken from him or he will fight you till he gets it back. He has proven this several time in Sunday School - I have been paged out or church twice within the last few weeks because of his temper.

My boys are my life and love them more than anything in the world. They make me smile and remind me that life is really not that bad at all. I am so bless to not only a wonderful husband and three healthy boys.

In case you were wondering - I am Jennifer and I work in Irving, TX doing all of the accounting for a small company that is growing more and more every day. I have a stressful job but at the same time I love what I do. I like to have my toes done, and takes baths. I love to go shopping and have lunch with the girls at work. Pink and purple are my favorite colors, and I love the summer time. I love for people to come to my house and hang out - our door is always open. God blessed us with big house and in return I want to bless others by having my door always open.

Stay tuned for more to come on the Bailey Boys......... Hopefully they will make you smile as much as they make me smile.
